Date Added: Friday 18 May, 2007 I am a happy owner of one of Mr. Sekela's Volunteer Jackets. The quality is top-notch: the fabric, lining, red tape, stitching, etc, are excellent. However, it is the short collar which makes it special. Every photograph I have seen of my battery's heritage unit shows members wearing a short-collar jacket, not uncommon among volunteer units early in the war. Mr. Sekela's Volunteer Jacket has aptly captured the look of the volunteer unit jackets, or of field-altered MSJs. It's a great alternative to the standard MSJ. Hat's off to Mr. Sekela for offering this jacket.
