Date Added: Tuesday 28 June, 2011 I used my Spratt's patent can this past weekend at a living history. I had filled it with peaches and applied a Sullivan label.
It was a curiosity to the public and re-enactors both.
The scenarios went on until 9:00 PM and the peaches between groups were the only supper I had.
I shall order a couple more and try different things like saurkraut and maybe some boiled beef. These cans are excellent and banish the the cooler to oblivion as long as one is careful in the canning procedure.
