Date Added: Saturday 29 January, 2011 I recently had occasion to see firsthand both the Lincoln-Hamlin campaign flag and the Breckenridge flag as they were placed in the Civil War exhibit at the Tampa Bay History Center. They are the first things you see walking up the the exhibit, with two citizen's mannequins. Both are excellent examples of period civilian material culture as something everyone would have seen and experienced in the months leading up to the war. The Lincoln-Hamlin flag has already stirred up conversations as people come up the steps to see the gallery, something that we as staff at institutions such as the History Center like. The delivery time was incredibly quick from order to receipt, something always appreciated.
