This Canteen Webbing is of a very high quality and I am sure is acceptable for use in projects other than just canteen slings due to its authentic period construction and appearance. I think this webbing would be suitable to use to replace torn or missing tent closures for those of you who camp out using the oversized "canvas hotels" that are becoming more and more the norm at many events. This webbing is quite tough and will be more than serviceable. Definitely a handy item to have standing by for emergencies.
