This is an item, which has been seen on sutler's row since the first reenactment ever held. For some reason, it has been a crude representation of the original, up to this point. This reproduction is made directly from an original in my collection, which has a noticeable difference in the shape of the acorn. When compared to the bulbous shape of what is currently offered, it simply does not convey the elegance and fine grade of clothing made available to the officer class.
