Hot dipped tin soldier's plate
[0865]
$39.99

As of late, one of the more difficult items to get on a consistent basis has been hot dipped tin items. Even more so, has been a CORRECT stamped iron plate. Originals of this item are extremely sought after by collectors, which makes reproducing them even harder. This plate is finally available to the hobby on a regular basis, and will satisfy the most critical eye.

Question? posted by Dave Cavey on 2009-01-26 12:58:50easyCommentz rating

This looks like the same plate that used to be sold by the Wisconsin Veterans Museum but which is now mysteriously out of stock? Is this from the same tinware maker?

David:
I have no idea what they are selling, and frankly don't care. This is a common style of plate, and is seen in many collections. We manufacture this plate ourselves, and we can guarantee that they only produce for us.
